This year marks the 67th Anniversary of Scott Colburn Boots & Western Wear, a feat which could only happen because of your loyal patronage! This year is also a celebration of what would have been Scott Colburn’s 100th birthday – he was born November 5th, 1917!

 

We tip our hats to you, and are devoting the weekend of November 4th & 5th to celebrating with fun treats for you and your family, including seasonal refreshments, including fresh cider and delicious donuts, plus fun giveaways and door prizes for all of our guests. Please join us!

That’s Tom Daldin, host of PBS’ “Under the Radar”, parked in our premium boot department seating! Tom recently filmed our store for his lively and much-loved show:

“Scott Colburn Boots & Western Wear will be featured on the Detroit Public Television show, “Under the Radar”,  August 31st 8:30pm, Channel 56, WTVS. “Under the Radar” is an Emmy Award winning Public Television show and the official TV program for Pure Michigan. The program showcases the best and most unique things Michigan has to offer.

This special segment will highlight the unique history of a Western store that started in urban Detroit 66 years ago, along with the vast array of western merchandise the store currently carries.”

(In case you can’t watch the premier, you can catch it again Saturday, September 2nd at 10:30am. And for those outside the Detroit area, the segment will be broadcast on public television stations across Michigan and beyond. Check your local listings and “Under the Radar” for details.)
